2 May 2013Six in a Row has had a crazy couple of months but we recently had the chance to pause to reflect.
One thing that was very clear to us was that we want to take this opportunity to sincerrely thank all our new stockists. Many of them found us at the Life Instyle trade show in Sydney in February and have taken a range of our pieces for their stores.
Without their support we would not be able to grow and take Six in a Row to a wider group of women and children. We are so thankful they liked our designs and based on the number of shops re-ordering, we think their customers might be liking them too.
Over the past month we have been steadily adding to the gorgeous range of shops that stock Six in a Row. Please visit our "Stockists" page if you would like to see them all. And the good news is that there are still a few more to add.
We encourage you, if there is a shop near you selling Six in a Row, to pop in and say hello. And please feel free to touch and feel our jewellery. Our resin is incredibly tactile and a pleasuse to wear. You'll only find this experience in store.
And if there is a shop near you that you think we might be a good fit for, please tell them and/or us. We would love to add to our family of stockists.

Hello Hard to Find in About Six, All Blog Posts, Six Stockists
25 Apr 2013For a very long time we have loved and longed for Six in a Row to be listed on the online store Hard to Find. If you're not familiar with this store, we think you should be! It is a one stop online shop of really great things.
And when Hard to Find approached us recently and asked if we would be interested in joining them, we almost knocked them over in our rush to say "yes, yes, yes".
We have started with a small range of our pebble necklaces, but will be adding more designs over the next few months.

Shop Handmade Canberra in All Blog Posts, Our Products, Six Stockists
20 Apr 2013There is a great sense of satisfaction when we parcel up a collection of pieces for one of our stockists. The collection we just sent off to the gorgeous Shop Handmade Canberra could well be one of are largest. We know they will be very busy in the lead up to Mother's Day. They are busy all the time, but this is probably a bit like a mini-Christmas for them
Shop Handmade Canberra is a very special store. It grew from the inspired and inspiring Handmade Market and the clever Shop Handmade team have collected together an impressive group of designers to stock in the store. In the process of building their business, they have given wings to a huge number of small "handmade" and designed businesses and products that were hungry for a place to sell their creations. It is a real feel good story.
If you are Canberra based, you probably know all about them. But if you're visiting Canberra, we highly recommend a visit to this one of a kind store:

Post Life Instyle Hangover and Happiness in About Six, Markets and Events, All Blog Posts, Six Stockists
28 Feb 2013We are reflecting on our experience at the Life Instyle Sydney 2013 trade show, and the verdict is - we had a ball.
We chose to do this trade show because we wanted to add some new shops to our list of stockist and spread the word about the Six in a Row look and feel.
As we sit here now, feeling both jet lagged and hung over after a massive 4 days (although we have neither travelled far or had a drink!), we are so happy to report that we have achieved both both goals.
We have added about 30 new stockists to our lovely group of shops. They come from across Australia and include many country areas. Great news. And we are also encourage by the superb feedback we received.
What has been a steep learning curve has also been a great experience.
We are now putting together all the orders we have received and will post more information about where these pieces can be found when they are ready to send.

Six in a Row at Life Instyle Sydney 2013 in About Six, Markets and Events, All Blog Posts, Our Products, Six Stockists
26 Feb 2013We've been a bit quiet on the blog front because we have been a bit consumed with taking Six in a Row to the gorgeous Life Instyle trade show in Sydney last week.
Life Instyle is one of those things we've dreamed of growing Six in a Row into. We didn't want to run before we could walk, so we have been gently growing Six in a Row with a dream that maybe one day we could make it all a reality.
Life Instyle is an event where really beautiful products are shown by high quality design businesses to retailers in the hope that they will love your products so much that they will want to stock them in their shops.
There is a whole section for children, which is super sweet. And an even bigger section with everything you could possibly want to stock if you had a beautiful store - clothing, rugs, candles, shoes, bedding, cushions, handbags, ribbons and stationary, scarves, tea cups and yes, jewellery.
We had a ball there and thought you might like a peak into the Six in a Row stand.
We started dreaming and then began to fine tuning our collection and sketching and planning how we wanted our stand to look. We then went about sourcing all the things we need to show our collection.
The following photos hopefully give you a bit of an idea of it all.
And the best bit of news is that it was a success for us. We'll pop another post up shortly with more about all that. And please watch this space as we begin to list the shops that have signed up to stock Six in a Row.
