Our Jewellery

Every piece from Six in a Row is made by hand, predominantly from beads made by crafts people.

Many of our pieces are one off creations and therefore not available once sold. Pieces may be stylistically re-created but there will always be slight variations due to the nature of a handcrafted piece. Such is the delight of a Six in a Row piece.

Other items are part of limited collections and there will be several similar pieces available.

Each Six in a Row piece has been individually hand crafted with great care. This may lead to variation in finish, colour and fabrication.

After much wear a resin piece can benefit from a little love and care to return it to its original luster and shine. To achieve this, simply rub a tiny amount of a natural oil or moisturiser on a dry cloth and gently polish the beads. Take care to avoid the cord and your piece will last even longer.

Resin in a very hardy material but can be damaged if it hits a hard surface.

Each bracelet or necklace is hand-strung on the highest quality material we can find, including cotton cord, milliners elastic or imported European jewellery elastic.

Who We Are

Emma Roach and Susannah (Zanny) Zweep joined forces in 2009 to create Six in a Row.

With a desire to create beautiful things that make people feel special everyday, Emma and Susannah have developed a range of gorgeous jewellery using rich and vibrant colours. They have sourced high quality materials and personally design and handcraft each piece.

Six in a Row aims to create a range of styles for every woman, no matter what her age or shape - with the simple ideal of finding what makes you feel lovely. The variations in style and colour are seemingly endless, and the styles constantly changing as inspiration takes hold.

Emma and Susannah have known each other since they started high school. They went on to university together where Emma studied Gold and Silversmithing at The Canberra School of Art and Susannah completed, amongst other things, a double major in Art History. The experience gained in their professional lives prior to Six in a Row has shaped their design aesthetic and approach, having worked for over 14 years in art galleries, museums, retail and marketing both in the UK and in Australia.
